Formally known as the LG Building and originally known as the BP Centre, the 126.5m concrete skyscraper held the title of Cape Town’s tallest building from 1962-2014. The entire building is rotated on a 34-degree diagonal twist, orientating it on a north-south axis which reduces sun and wind loads on the structure.
